Scope of Work

The Pueblo of Laguna Tribal Council has directed the Government Affairs Director (GAD) to create a Constitutional Referendum Committee to create a process that will be utilized for all Referendums (changes) that are made to the Tribal Constitution. The current Committee is comprised of the Enrollment Office, Enrollment Committee, Election Board, members from Tribal Council, and members from each of the 6 Villages.

Mission

The Tribal Council recognizes that the Tribal Constitution needs to have amendments. The Committee’s role is to establish a process that will better follow all laws and policies that are established by the Tribal Council regarding changes that are made to the Tribal Constitution.
