Department Overview / Scope of Work:

The LGCB (Laguna Gaming Control Board) is Tribal Council appointed and responsible for the enforcement of the POL Gaming Ordinance 100-95, as well as promulgating the LGCB Rules, Regulations and Tribal Internal Controls Standards.

The TGRA (Tribal Gaming Regulatory Authority) provides oversight of Laguna Development Corporation’s Gaming Enterprise. It is the primary responsibility of the TGRA to oversee, regulate, and enforce all applicable LGCB, TGRA, Tribal, State, and Federal laws, and regulations governing Class II and Class III gaming on Indian Lands. Funds are generated for the Pueblo of Laguna through the assessment of gaming licenses fees from individuals who are employed within the gaming enterprise, vendor fees, and fees established by the Tribal/State Gaming Compact for Class III gaming.
