Department Overview / Scope of Work:
The Governor is the chief executive officer of the Pueblo and performs the customary and traditional responsibilities and duties of the position; presides at all Pueblo Council meetings; carries out and implements all ordinances, resolutions, and directives of the Pueblo Council; and his lawful orders must be obeyed and respected by all members and by all other persons within the boundaries of the Pueblo of Laguna.

Programs/Events:

Participates in various religious activities that occur during the year.

Presides over all Council meetings and Shareholders meetings for the various tribal entities.

Responsible for providing an annual report to the Pueblo membership of all governmental operations.
